With the PMLT multi-beam optics, two components can be processed simultaneously with only one scanner and only one laser source. The beam spacing and the power distribution can be adjusted flexibly.
A sufficient power or pulse energy reserve of your laser source is a prerequisite for the use of the optics. This is often the case when an increase in pulse energy or performance would lead to poorer process results. If your laser is currently running below 50% of the available power, the process time is halved by using the PMLT double-beam optics.
The main advantage over the use of DOEs (diffractive optical elements) for beam splitting is the flexible setting of the beam spacing and the power distribution. This means that the optics can be used for multiple components or multiple processes.
